Free is €0 for 100 chats a month, one seat, the full builder and templates, and a WhatsApp test number, but no AI chats. Starter is €32 a month billed annually or €40 paid monthly, with 500 chats, 100 AI chats and 2 seats. Professional is €80 annually or €100 monthly, with 2,500 chats, 300 AI chats, 3 seats, no Landbot branding and the HubSpot, Airtable and webhook integrations.
Professional WA, the WhatsApp tier, is €160 annually or €200 monthly with 500 AI chats. Business is priced by contract, from 5 seats, with one WhatsApp number, dedicated support and an uptime SLA. Over your allowance, each extra chat costs €0.05, billed in 500-chat packs of €25, and each extra AI chat €0.10; an extra seat is €25 a month. Prices are before tax, and annual billing is a 12-month commitment.
There is a 14-day trial with everything included, after which the account drops to Free without a card. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

What the pricing page doesn’t say
Starter keeps Landbot branding and has no own WhatsApp number, so most business use starts at Professional. The pages also disagree with each other: the pricing page says chats are not used to train models, while clause 10.9 of the terms describes anonymised training for four AI features through OpenAI; and the pricing page says your history is never deleted, while the billing FAQ deactivates inactive accounts after 6 months (downgraded) or 30 days (never paid).
What Landbot does
No-code chatbot builder for websites, WhatsApp and Messenger: design conversation flows visually or from a template, add AI agent blocks, and send the answers to your CRM or spreadsheet.
Professional is where the bot stops looking borrowed
Starter at €32 a month (annual) is a working bot, but it still carries Landbot branding, cannot use your own WhatsApp number and only gets the basic integrations such as Mailchimp and Segment. Professional at €80 removes the branding, adds HubSpot, Airtable and webhooks, raises the allowance from 500 to 2,500 chats and from 100 to 300 AI chats, and adds a third seat. For a bot that feeds leads into a CRM, Professional is the realistic starting point.
The meters matter more than the tier. Regular chats and AI chats are counted separately: a conversation that uses an AI Agent or AI Task block anywhere in the flow counts as an AI chat, at €0.10 each beyond the allowance. Overage on regular chats is sold in packs of 500 for €25. Watch the AI-chat counter in the first month before you put an AI block on a busy page.
How to actually use Landbot
Start the 14-day trial, which includes everything, and click Build a chatbot in the dashboard. Landbot offers three routes: Build it for me (an AI-generated draft), Start from scratch block by block, or a template. Question blocks collect answers through buttons, open text or forms and save them in Fields, which is what you later send to your CRM or sheet. Test the bot with the shareable link under Launch > Share with a Link, then pick how it shows on your site: Full Page, Webchat or Embed.
Decide before the trial ends whether you need AI blocks at all, because they decide which meter you are on; the trial drops to the Free plan, which has no AI chats, when it ends.

What is the difference between a chat and an AI chat?
Landbot's billing FAQ says an AI chat is any conversation that uses an AI Agent or AI Task block to generate a response at some point in the flow, and it is billed separately from regular chats. Each paid plan has its own AI allowance: 100 on Starter, 300 on Professional and 500 on Professional WA.
Can I get my money back?
The billing FAQ gives a full refund within 7 days of upgrading to a paid plan, once per account, and 7 days after a renewal if you forgot to cancel. The guarantee does not cover extra chat volume. Requests go to help@landbot.io.
How do I cancel?
Downgrade to the Sandbox (free) plan. The FAQ says the downgrade takes effect at the end of the prepaid period and you are not charged again. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription: cancel first, or you keep being charged. The general terms add a two-month notice period for Business plan contracts.
Does Landbot train AI on my chats?
The pricing page says it does not use your chats to train models. Clause 10.9 of the general terms, read the same day, says anonymised data from the Build-it-for-me, FAQs AI Assistant, Lead Gen AI Assistant and Appointment Scheduling Assistant features is used to train and improve those services through OpenAI. If this matters to you, ask Landbot which of the two applies to the features you plan to use.
