FreshworksFreshworks Review (2026)The Pricing Page Has No Prices

Customer SupportResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-09-08

Freshworks is not a product, it is nine of them behind a pricing page that contains no price.

Best for: teams who want a support desk that is cheaper per agent than the category leaders and will genuinely use the annual commitment — Growth at $19 is real value if ticketing is all you need.

Pricing (2026)

✓ Pricing re-verified 29 Aug 2026

(2026-08-29, read on their own pricing pages) The main Freshworks pricing page still carries no prices at all — it lists the products and links out to each one, and that list has grown to nine: Freshdesk Omni, Freshdesk, Freshchat, Freshcaller, Freshservice, Freshservice for Business Teams, Freshsales, Freshsales Suite and Freshmarketer. On Freshdesk the annual rates are unchanged since 1 August 2026: Growth $19 per agent per month, Pro $55, Enterprise $89, billed annually.

What has changed is that the monthly column is now published: Growth $23, Pro $66, Enterprise $107 per agent per month, billed monthly. The page's SAVE 20% badge overstates the gap — $19 against $23 is 17.4%, $55 against $66 is 16.7%, $89 against $107 is 16.8%. Freddy AI Agent is included with the first 500 sessions; additional sessions are $49 per 100.

Freddy AI Copilot is a separate add-on at $29 per agent per month annually, or $35 monthly, on Pro and Enterprise only. Day passes are $2, $7 and $12 per pass on Growth, Pro and Enterprise. Connector app tasks are $80 per 5,000 tasks. The 14-day free trial starts you on Enterprise. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Correction after re-checking: Two lines in our earlier text no longer hold. We wrote that every Freshdesk tier requires annual billing and that no monthly rate is shown at all. On 29 August 2026 the page publishes both columns: Growth $19 annually against $23 monthly, Pro $55 against $66, Enterprise $89 against $107. The month-to-month escape we said did not exist does exist, and the advertised 20% annual saving is really 17.4%, 16.7% and 16.8%. We also wrote that the included Freddy AI Agent stops after 500 sessions with no published rate for what follows; the rate is now printed at $49 per 100 additional sessions. The annual rates themselves are unchanged. (re-verified 2026-08-29)

The honest knock

Once you find Freshdesk's own page, two things sit on top of the number. Freddy AI Copilot — the AI the marketing leads with — is $29 per agent per month extra, 53% on top of a Pro seat, and it is not sold on Growth at all. And the Freddy AI Agent that is included stops after 500 sessions; beyond that it is $49 per 100 sessions, so a busy queue turns the included allowance into a metered bill.

The SAVE 20% badge on the annual toggle is really 17%. If you want support and IT and CRM, price three subscriptions, not one.

What Freshworks does

Suite of separately-sold products: Freshdesk support, Freshservice IT, Freshsales CRM, Freshchat and Freshcaller.

What buyers report about Freshworks

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Freshworks ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • It is one of the fastest help desks to stand up, and reviewers rate the interface as clean and easy to navigate — about 4.4 on G2 across roughly 3,700 reviews.
  • Strong value at the small and mid-market end, which is where the positive reviews concentrate.
What they complain about
  • Reporting depth and serious AI both sit behind a bigger bill. Teams either love the speed or hit that wall.
  • Costs and limits creep up as you scale — reviewers describe it as sneaking up rather than jumping.
  • Reports of support email processing failing for days at a time.

Where the ratings disagree. 4.4 on G2 against 2.5 on Trustpilot across 367 reviews, and the Trustpilot side is dominated by auto-renewal billing. Diarise the renewal date before you sign.

When the paid plan is worth it

Two things to settle before comparing tiers. First, Freshworks is not one subscription: the main pricing page carries no prices at all and links out to nine products, and Freshdesk, Freshservice, Freshsales, Freshchat and Freshcaller are separate subscriptions with their own ladders. If you want two of them, you are buying two products. Second, Freshdesk now publishes both billing columns, which it did not on 1 August. Growth is $19 per agent billed annually against $23 monthly, Pro $55 against $66, Enterprise $89 against $107.

That makes the annual saving 17.4%, 16.7% and 16.8% -- the SAVE 20% badge is rounded in the vendor's own favour -- and the monthly option is real, so a year is no longer forced on you. The step from Growth to Pro is the expensive one at nearly three times the price, so establish which of your requirements sit above that line. The AI story complicates it: Freddy AI Agent is included for the first 500 sessions and $49 per 100 after that, while Freddy AI Copilot is a separate $29 per agent annually, $35 monthly, on Pro and Enterprise only.

Copilot takes a Pro agent from $55 to $84, a 53% increase, so wanting the AI assistant means buying Pro plus an add-on.

How to actually use Freshworks

Start on the product's own page, not the Freshworks one. The page you land on when you search for Freshworks pricing carries no prices at all — it lists nine products and links out — so decide first which one you are buying: Freshdesk for support, Freshservice for IT, Freshsales for CRM, Freshchat, Freshcaller. Each is a separate subscription with its own page, and wanting two of them means budgeting two bills.

On Freshdesk, budget three things beyond the seat price. Choose the billing column deliberately: Growth is $19 per agent annually against $23 monthly, Pro $55 against $66, Enterprise $89 against $107 — a real saving, but 17% rather than the 20% on the badge. Freddy AI Copilot, the AI the marketing leads with, is $29 per agent a month extra on Pro and Enterprise, 53% on top of a Pro seat.

And the Freddy AI Agent included with every tier stops at 500 sessions, after which it is $49 per 100 — so estimate your session volume before you design a workflow around it. Then work out your total across products before comparing Freshworks to an all-in-one competitor. Support plus IT plus CRM is three subscriptions and three sets of add-ons, and no page on their site will add that up for you.

Freshworks vs Zendesk, side by side

Both columns come from the same place: each vendor’s own published pricing, read on the date shown in the sources at the foot of this page. We do not average them into a score.

The Freshworks link above is an affiliate link — we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you — and the other column is a plain link. Neither changes what this table says: both columns come straight from the vendors’ own pricing pages.

The natural comparison is Zendesk or Zoho Desk — the standing comparison — price all three with the AI add-on switched on, because that is where they separate.

Frequently asked questions

What should I weigh before buying Customer Support software?

Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.

Is this a hands-on review of Freshworks?

This is a researched assessment, not a hands-on test — where we've used a tool ourselves, we say so explicitly. We name what each tool is genuinely good and bad at, and we earn a commission only if you sign up, at no cost to you.
