The gating detail is conversations, not features — Starter's 100 a month is a few days on a live site, and an agent that actually gets used will push you up a tier.

Starter is free. Bronze is $34 a month, Silver $39 and Gold $99, each billed annually, with 'save up to 20%' against monthly billing; Enterprise is quoted. On the AI Agents page the ladder is drawn in agents and conversations, not in forms and submissions: 5 agents and 100 monthly conversations on Starter, 25 and 1,000 on Bronze, 50 and 2,500 on Silver, 100 and 10,000 on Gold.
Sessions, voice-call minutes, SMS and knowledge-base characters are metered alongside — 10,000 / 100,000 / 1,000,000 / 2,000,000 monthly sessions and 50 / 100 / 200 / 300 voice minutes across the same four tiers. Jotform defines a session as a chatbot view, a page refresh or a phone call starting, whether or not anyone interacts. The same plan data, read from a Netherlands exit on 24 Sep 2026, gives the annual totals as 408, 468 and 1,188 and the month-to-month rates as 39, 49 and 129 (in euros there), so monthly billing costs about 15% more on Bronze, 26% on Silver and 30% on Gold.
Conversations count chat and phone alike, and the voice-call limit is shared between voice calls and calls to a dedicated phone number, which is a separate add-on (also available on Starter) whose price the served page does not print. Per the FAQ: a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of payment; seasonal discounts apply only when upgrading to a higher-tier yearly plan and renew at full price the next period; upgrades are prorated and immediate, and a downgrade takes effect immediately with the unused time kept as account balance. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Sessions are metered separately and Jotform counts a chatbot view or a page refresh as one, so a busy page burns allowance without ever holding a conversation; voice minutes and SMS meter on top as well. It's also tightly bound to the Jotform ecosystem: brilliant if you already live in Jotform forms, less compelling as a standalone chatbot if you don't. For form-driven support and lead capture, it's a fast, low-code win.

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Jotform AI Agents ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.
The gate is conversations, not features, and the free tier makes that obvious once you price it. Starter gives five agents and a hundred conversations a month; at Silver's rate those hundred conversations are worth about $1.56 of product. The free plan is a demonstration, not a tier you operate on. Above it, on annual billing, Bronze is $34 a month for 1,000 conversations, Silver $39 for 2,500 and Gold $99 for 10,000.
Per conversation that is 3.4 cents on Bronze, 1.6 on Silver and 1.0 on Gold, so the ladder genuinely does get cheaper per unit. Silver is the sharp step: five dollars more than Bronze for two and a half times the volume. Month to month the gap widens — 39, 49 and 129 in the page's plan data — so annual billing saves most on Gold, and a discount banner only ever applies to the first yearly term: the FAQ says those plans renew at full price.
What upgrading does not fix is the second meter. Voice minutes and SMS are counted separately on every tier, and so are sessions — and Jotform defines a session as a chatbot view, a page refresh or a phone call starting, whether or not anyone says anything. An agent embedded on a busy page burns sessions it never held a conversation in, and no tier turns that off.
Estimate conversations before you look at features, because conversations are the gate. Starter includes 100 a month, which on a live site is a few days rather than a month. Bronze carries 1,000, Silver 2,500 and Gold 10,000, and the price per conversation falls from 3.4 cents to 1.6 to 1.0, so if you expect volume the higher tier is genuinely cheaper per unit. Then read the session definition before you embed anything.
Jotform counts a monthly session as a chatbot view, a page refresh or a phone call starting, even with no interaction at all, and meters those separately from conversations. On a busy page the session allowance runs out long before the conversation one. Voice minutes, SMS and knowledge-base size meter separately as well. Then spend the free conversations on your five most awkward real enquiries rather than on testing that it replies.
What you need to know is whether it is right about your policies, not whether it is polite.
Distilled from Jotform's AI Agents pricing page (www.jotform.com/ai/agents/pricing/, reached from www.jotform.com/ai-agents/pricing/) — the four tier cards on the yearly toggle, the per-tier usage limits printed on each card and the pricing FAQ, read 4 September 2026 from a Netherlands exit, where the page quotes euros. The plan table is client-rendered: a plain fetch of that URL returns no amount anywhere in the markup, so these figures come from the rendered page. www.jotform.com/llms.txt returned a 404 on that date. Re-read 24 September 2026 from a Netherlands exit: the served HTML of the same page now carries the full plan data (prices per period, AI agent, conversation, session, voice-seconds, SMS and knowledge-base limits per tier) and the FAQ text, which is where the monthly rates, annual totals, the money-back guarantee, the discount-renewal rule, the proration and downgrade terms and the phone-call metering come from. The annual rates and all usage limits match the 4 September reading.
Both columns come from the same place: each vendor’s own published pricing, read on the date shown in the sources at the foot of this page. We do not average them into a score.
Both names above are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Neither changes what this table says: both columns come straight from the vendors’ own pricing pages.
The natural comparison is Intercom Fin or Tidio — dedicated AI-support platforms — Jotform's edge is no-code and form integration; compare on conversation limits at your real volume.
Yes, within 30 days. Read 24 September 2026, the pricing page on jotform.com/ai/agents/pricing carries a 30-day money-back guarantee: cancel within 30 days of payment and Jotform issues a full refund, requested through its support team. Before paying at all, the free Starter plan runs five agents with 100 conversations, 10,000 sessions and 50 voice minutes a month, which is enough to test an agent on your real questions but not to run it on a live site. If you do pay and then find you bought too much, the FAQ says a downgrade takes effect immediately and the unused time goes to your account as a balance for the next payment, not back to your card.
No. Read 24 September 2026, Jotform's FAQ says its seasonal discounts are available only when upgrading to a higher-tier yearly plan, not on the plan you already have, and that plans auto-renew at the full price in the next payment period. The campaign text in the page data says the same of its current offer: a one-time discount on an annual Bronze, Silver or Gold plan, renewing at full price a year later. So budget on the standard annual rate - 34, 39 and 99 a month on Bronze, Silver and Gold, billed as 408, 468 and 1,188 a year - and treat anything below that as a first-year saving only.
Three at once. Read 24 September 2026, the AI Agents FAQ says monthly conversations include both chat and phone interactions, monthly sessions include phone call starts even without any interaction, and the monthly voice-call limit is shared between voice calls and calls to a dedicated phone number. Voice time is the tightest of the three: 50 minutes a month on Starter, 100 on Bronze, 200 on Silver and 300 on Gold, against 1,000 to 10,000 conversations on the paid tiers. At five minutes a call, Gold's allowance covers about 60 calls a month. The dedicated number itself is a separate add-on, sold monthly or yearly and available even on Starter; the served page does not print its price.
Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.
