Growth €59/mo, Pro €119/mo and Business €279/mo billed annually, with a 7-day free trial and no setup fee. Users are capped per tier: Growth includes 3 and lets you add none at all; Pro and Business include 5, with extra seats at €39 and €89 per user per month. Add-ons are separate again — 1,000 automation triggers €35/mo, 1,000 AI co-pilot credits €25/mo, Shopify $4.99/mo, each extra WhatsApp number €29/mo.
Our dollar reading of the same page on 23 July 2026 gave Growth $39, Pro $79 and Business $199 annually, so which currency and which figure you see depends on where Wati places you — check your own checkout before you budget. On top of all of it sit Meta's own per-conversation message fees, which Wati bills through at its own rate card. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.
Correction after re-checking: Our earlier text put extra Business seats at $59 per user per month. That figure is wrong: our own monthly captures of wati.io/pricing in July and August 2026 both carry $24 and $69 for the two extra-seat lines, and the euro storefront on 14 August 2026 shows €39 and €89 in the same two places. Read Pro extra seats as $24 and Business extra seats as $69. The add-on blocks read €35 for 1,000 automation triggers and €25 for 1,000 AI co-pilot credits on that euro page, against the $25 and $20 we recorded in dollars on 23 July 2026. That is not a like-for-like comparison, so we are not calling it a rise either. (re-verified 2026-08-14)
We capture Wati’s own pricing page every month and keep the figures, so this is our record of the page — not a forecast, and not someone else’s summary.
The July and August 2026 captures differ as documents — 80,957 characters against 80,915, and a different text hash — but every amount inside is identical, including both extra-seat lines, $24 and $69, and the $4.99 Shopify add-on. What changed is the currency we are served: on 14 August 2026 the same URL came back in euros, at €59, €119 and €279 a month for Growth, Pro and Business on annual billing, with extra seats at €39 and €89. We cannot tell from here whether that is a price change or a regional storefront, so we are not calling it one.

Growth is capped at three users and you cannot buy a fourth at any price, so growing past three people forces the jump to Pro; from there extra seats are $24 each, and $69 each on Business. Automation triggers, AI credits, the Shopify link and every additional WhatsApp number are all separately metered, and Meta's per-conversation fees land on top of the lot. Model your real message volume and seat count before committing — that is where the money actually goes.
WhatsApp Business API platform for sales and support: shared team inbox, bulk broadcasts and no-code chatbots — plus Astra, its AI agent builder for agents that actually resolve conversations (orders, refunds, bookings, lead qualification) across WhatsApp, web and voice. Its omnichannel inbox now also carries TikTok DMs natively (all plans, no extra cost) alongside Instagram and RCS — with ad-to-chat context that shows exactly which TikTok ad triggered a conversation. It now ships its own MCP server as well: connect Claude or ChatGPT once and manage contacts, send WhatsApp campaigns, read past chats and build agents in plain language, while sends still run on your own approved templates and the full history stays in the Wati dashboard. Wati's own page puts the cost like this: free for current paid Astra customers with no usage cap during launch, and full MCP access on every Astra plan for new customers (checked 4 Aug 2026).

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026 (Shopify App Store reviews from November 2025 through 7 July 2026). We have not run Wati ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.
Where the ratings disagree. The Shopify App Store splits into two camps with almost nothing in between: merchants who are unreserved about the AI and the automation, and merchants hit by billing or support failures. That is sharper than the G2 and Capterra picture, and the likely reason is timing — Shopify sellers write their review at the moment money moves, so a failed card or a blocked broadcast lands in the review rather than in a support ticket. Note also that the earlier plan-price range in our own notes, 59 to 279, is the euro storefront we were served on 14 August 2026, not dollars.
Growth ($39/mo annual) pays for itself once WhatsApp is a channel you answer every day and three seats genuinely cover the team. But Growth sells no extra seats at any price. So if you are already three people, price Pro ($79/mo plus $24 per extra seat) from day one and save yourself the forced mid-quarter jump. Business ($199/mo) only earns its premium once you concretely need multiple WhatsApp numbers or the advanced AI agents.
And know what upgrading does not fix: Meta's per-conversation fees are identical on every tier, so the metered part of the bill never shrinks by paying Wati more.
Our monthly capture read this vendor's pricing page in July 2026 and again in August 2026, and the amounts were the same both times. We keep watching — the registry records what moves.
Setup is three chains, not one: a verified Meta Business Manager account (have real business documents ready), a phone number that is not already tied to any WhatsApp account, and then Wati's own connect flow — which is genuinely quick once the first two exist. The comments under every tutorial tell the same story: people rarely get stuck in Wati itself, they get stuck at Meta's business verification and at numbers that will not release from an existing WhatsApp.
Budget days, not minutes, for Meta's checks; then start small with one approved template broadcast and the no-code chatbot builder before layering automations.
Distilled from Wati's own setup tutorials and independent walkthroughs on YouTube, plus their help-center (Getting Started, Connect Your Number)
The natural comparison is Interakt or a direct Meta BSP — other WhatsApp API providers.
Everything we publish about Wati links back here — the review stays the honest hub:
The ex-banker filter — the same yardstick on every review (how we review): My ex-banker filter is simple: does Wati remove a real cost — time, errors, missed revenue — bigger than what it charges?
It depends which tier, and Growth is the trap: it includes 3 users and sells no fourth at any price, so a fourth person forces the jump to Pro. On the dollar page we captured in July and August 2026 the two extra-seat lines read $24 and $69 per user per month; on the euro page we were served on 14 August 2026 they read €39 and €89. Pro is the cheaper seat, Business the expensive one.
Worth checking before you budget. Our July and August 2026 captures of wati.io/pricing came back in dollars; on 14 August 2026 the same URL served us euros — Growth €59, Pro €119, Business €279 a month on annual billing — while the Shopify add-on stayed at $4.99. We cannot see from here what drives that, so take the figure from your own checkout, in your own currency, rather than from anyone's summary including ours.
No. Meta's per-conversation fees are charged the same on every tier and Wati bills them through on its own rate card, so the metered half of the bill does not shrink when you upgrade. Upgrading buys seats, automation triggers, AI credits and extra WhatsApp numbers — and those are separately metered too.
Generally yes, since this category is built for it, but the details that bite are timezone handling, how per-seat cost scales as the team spreads, and whether numbers, routing or coverage exist in the countries your people actually sit in. Availability varies far more by country than the marketing pages suggest, so check your specific regions before committing.
