bOnline does not put its contract length on the pricing page: the trial needs no card or commitment, but its own testimonials talk about renewing a contract after twelve months, so ask before you port your number.

Three plans, priced per user a month. Starter is £7.00 and gives a digital phone line and number, unlimited inbound calls, 100 outbound landline minutes and 40+ VoIP features. Unlimited Calling is £13.95 and adds unlimited UK landline and mobile calls (marked with an asterisk, and bOnline publishes a separate fair use policy), on-demand call recording and 45+ features. AI For Business Calls is £19.95, shown against a struck-through £21.95, and records every call, stores it for a year, and transcribes, summarises, scores and indexes it with AI.
Add-ons are billed monthly: AI call recording £8, CRM integrations £8 (HubSpot, Zoho, Odoo, Pipedrive, Salesforce and 200 more), and international bundles at £6 for 500 minutes to 100 destinations, £10 for 1,000 minutes, or £5 for unlimited minutes to 14 destinations. The page offers a free trial with no card and no commitment, a price match guarantee and a 14-day 'love it' guarantee, and bOnline offers to cover up to £100 of exit fees from a previous provider. The pricing page does not state a contract length. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Starter at £7 a user includes only 100 outbound landline minutes a month, the 'unlimited' calls on the next plan carry an asterisk and a separate fair use policy we could not read, and all prices exclude VAT. It is built for UK numbers and UK calls; international minutes are bundles on top. The reviews on the pricing page are chosen by bOnline, and the 50,000-business figure is its own claim. We have not used bOnline ourselves.
UK business phone provider for small businesses: a VoIP number on your mobile app or desk phone, unlimited UK calling, call recording, call queues and IVR, and AI transcription and call summaries on its top plan.
Starter at £7 a user suits a business that mostly receives calls: inbound is unlimited, but outbound stops at 100 landline minutes a month, which is under four minutes a working day. A sole trader who rings customers back will pass that quickly, and Unlimited Calling at £13.95 is the plan that removes the meter for UK landlines and mobiles, with call recording on demand. The top plan, AI For Business Calls at £19.95, is about what happens after the call: every call recorded and kept for a year, transcribed, summarised, scored with follow-up actions and searchable.
Look at the add-on list before you choose it. AI call recording is also sold as an £8 add-on, so Unlimited Calling plus that add-on comes to £21.95 a user, the same as the top plan's struck-through price; the top plan is the cheaper route if you want the AI features for every user. Prices exclude VAT, so a VAT-registered business reclaims it and a sole trader below the threshold pays 20% more than the headline.
Start the free trial, which the page says needs no card and no commitment, and pick a number or ask to port your existing one: the pricing page FAQ covers transferring a business number to bOnline. Calls run through the mobile app on iOS and Android or a desk phone, so you can test on your own phone before buying hardware. Before you sign up for a paid plan, ask two things the pricing page does not answer: the contract length, and what the fair use policy allows on Unlimited Calling.
bOnline's own testimonials mention renewing a contract after twelve months, and the T&C page lists a separate fair use policy. If you are leaving another provider early, ask about the up to £100 exit-fee cover bOnline advertises. Then set up call handling: opening hours, call forwarding, a call queue or IVR menu if more than one person answers, and voicemail to email. If you use a CRM, the integration is an £8 add-on, so add it only for the users who log calls.
bOnline's own pages, read in a headless browser on 2026-10-06: bonline.com/pricing (the three plans with prices excluding VAT, the feature comparison, the add-ons and international bundles, the price match guarantee and the FAQ questions), the home page (the free trial with no card and no commitment, the exit-fee offer, the claim of 50,000 UK small businesses, which we cannot verify), bonline.com/our-pricing-is-fair (the 14-day 'love it' guarantee) and the terms page, which links a fair use policy and a schedule of charges that did not render for us.
The testimonials quoted on the pricing page are chosen by bOnline. bOnline is an Awin partner of ours. We have not used bOnline ourselves.
Each column shows the vendor’s own published entry price, read on the date shown. Entry prices can cover different services or units, so check what each one buys. We do not average them into a score.

The natural comparison is CallHippo — CallHippo is in our dossiers too, as a cloud phone system for small teams that prices per user like bOnline. On our 15 September 2026 reading, CallHippo Starter was $19 per user a month billed annually with a two-user minimum, or $25 month to month, with 1,000 US and Canadian minutes and 100 SMS. bOnline starts lower and is built for the UK: £7 a user excluding VAT with unlimited inbound but only 100 outbound landline minutes, or £13.95 for unlimited UK landline and mobile calls, with no stated user minimum. A UK business calling UK customers will usually pay less on bOnline; a team calling North America, or one that needs SMS on the entry plan, is closer to CallHippo's design..
Read on 6 October 2026, per user a month excluding VAT: Starter £7.00 (unlimited inbound, 100 outbound landline minutes), Unlimited Calling £13.95 (unlimited UK landline and mobile calls, on-demand recording), AI For Business Calls £19.95 (every call recorded for a year, transcribed, summarised and scored). Add-ons include AI call recording and CRM integrations at £8 each.
The pricing page does not say. It offers a free trial with no card and no commitment and a 14-day 'love it' guarantee, but bOnline's own testimonials mention renewing a contract after twelve months. Ask for the minimum term in writing before you port your number.
The pricing page FAQ covers transferring an existing business number to bOnline, and bOnline offers to cover up to £100 of exit fees from your current provider. Ask how long the port takes before you cancel the old line.
Generally yes, since this category is built for it, but the details that bite are timezone handling, how per-seat cost scales as the team spreads, and whether numbers, routing or coverage exist in the countries your people actually sit in. Availability varies far more by country than the marketing pages suggest, so check your specific regions before committing.
